Welcome to Pharo Kindergarten, located in Hero-Awar, Hargeisa, Somaliland. We are a high standard Pharo school known for providing a dynamic learning environment that is interactive, engaging, and enjoyable. Our institution serves as an inspiring educational hub where pupils are nurtured to explore their imagination, develop skills in building, engineering, designing, modelling, and finally grow through creative expression.

Pharo Kindergarten is dedicated to cultivating a secure, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment. There is ample academic evidence that the highest returns to education come from changing an individual’s opportunities at the earliest stage of their life. University of Chicago’s Carneiro & Heckman’s seminal paper on ‘Human Capital Policy’ for instance provides evidence of the high return to early interventions in education, versus the low return to remedial or compensatory interventions later in the life cycle. Hence our ambitious and challenging curriculum inspires our youngest children to excel academically, socially, and emotionally. And because learning does not only happen in the classroom, we value strong partnerships with parents and the community, providing numerous opportunities for involvement through engaging events, parent-teacher meetings, and interactive activities.
