Ahmed Omar described his skills as “level 0” before he attended Pharo Foundation’s Vocational Training Program (TVET). He embarked on a transformative journey in pursuit of expertise in electrical installation and solar energy. Driven by a passion for renewable energy and sustainable solutions, Ahmed found Pharo TVET to be the pivotal stepping stone that connected him to diverse job opportunities. He said: “through Pharo I gained skills such as teamwork, time management and maintaining top quality work.” He now thrives in the electricity and solar energy industry, where he applies the skills he gained on a daily basis working at Pharo Ventures. His role encompasses overseeing new building constructions and spearheading solar system projects, underscoring his dedication to driving innovation in renewable energy solutions. Looking ahead Ahmed has a vision to establish a leading company that offers services encompassing electricity, solar energy and maintenance.
