Mulualem Kidane is a 20 year-old, Pharo School Homosha Alumni who graduated in 2022. She has made her family proud by being the first family member to pursue higher education. Raised in a family of seven, Mulualem’s journey to Ozyegin University in Turkey marks a significant milestone for both her and her community. Özyeğin University was founded by the Hüsnü M. Özyeğin Foundation. It is an innovative, creative, and entrepreneurial research university whose mission is to serve society. It aspires to instill in students the passion and dedication to make a difference for their employers and communities.

Mulualem’s success is reflected in her achievement of a half scholarship from Pharo Foundation and a further half scholarship from Ozyegin University. She is studying business administration and aspires to pursue careers in marketing, management or entrepreneurship.
