The Pharo Kindergarten puts equal emphasis on all child development aspects including cognitive, physical, social, emotional and spiritual development. To ensure that holistic development is reached, the kindergarten offers the following learning activities; Languages, Mathematics, Religious Studies, Physical Education, Creative Arts, Science, and Social Studies.
The Pharo Primary School implements a formal education programme for the primary level (grade 1 to grade 8). The school has 16 classrooms and teaches 560 students between the ages of 6 – 13. The Pharo Primary School delivers an integrated curriculum which covers different development areas that are designed for the 21st-century learner. The education programme includes studies in Somali, Arabic, English, Mathematics, Physical Education, Social Studies, Science & Technology and Creative Arts. The school is equipped with supporting facilities which include a computer lab, a science lab, an art lab, an outdoor playground, and a library.
The Pharo Secondary School in Sheikh offers superior education that goes hand in hand with our state-of-the-art learning environment. In addition to academic excellence, we strongly focus on instilling confidence, resilience and emotional intelligence to ready our students for Higher Education.
The Pharo Secondary School Sheikh is currently following the Pearson Edexcel International curriculum and Somaliland curriculum. Subjects offered are English, Somali, Arabic and Islamic Studies, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, History, Geography and Information Technology (IGCSE & A Level). In addition to the intensive academic curriculum, the school operates a broad extra-curricular and sports programme as well as community outreach activities.
Our student’s ability to demonstrate outstanding academic excellence is only part of the success. We equally strive to ensure our students are equipped with real-world skills in order to become independent learners, caring, critical and creative thinkers who are driven to make positive changes locally and globally.
