Pharo School Homosha

Welcome Note

A hearty welcome to Pharo School Homosha, a leading boarding school for girls in Benishangul Gumuz Region, Ethiopia. We believe that every girl is unique; our role as passionate educators is to provide a stimulating environment that will inspire learners to maximize learning opportunities in diverse classroom settings. Through continuous professional development, we have developed an academic curriculum that adapts to different learning styles, making educational content relevant to each student’s experience. Through open and honest communication with parents, rigorous student assessment and hard work, we enable learners to embark on a journey of self-discovery through education, as well as embrace the differences of others.

Our educational philosophy is articulated around five principles:

1. Leadership – everyone is a leader.
2. Potential – everyone is a genius.
3. Change – change starts with me.
4. Education – develop the whole person.
5. Motivation – educators empower students to lead their own learning.

We are dedicated to empowering young women through education. We believe in catalysing their potential to become future leaders and change-makers.
