Admissions

Admissions

  1. Must score at least 50% mean / average score in their Grade 8 (primary) regional exam to be eligible to appear for the Pharo School’s Grade 9 Entrance Exam at one of the dedicated examination locations.
  2. A student passes the school’s grade 9 entrance exam and scores at least 50%. However, scoring the pass mark of 50% is not a guarantee for the students to be enrolled at the school since other requirements need to be fulfilled too.
  3. The school’s grade 9 entrance examination is to test the students’ aptitude and academic level in general and in particular focuses on assessing the English skills of the students.
  4. New enrolments of students are only accepted at the beginning of an Academic Year. The school has a right to take students during the academic year in exceptional circumstances.
  5. Upon the discretion of the management, the school may admit students in other grades rather than grade 9. However, such intakes are incidental and not happening on a regular basis.
  6. The school does not charge any fee to the student for tuition, meals, accommodation, and limited health care but parents have to provide the students with all basic essentials needed for the life on the campus; such as stationery and learning materials (except textbooks), sanitary materials, communication devices as well as transport to and from school.
