Welcome to Pharo Vocational Training Centre, I am honoured and privileged to be part of a programme that equips new technical skills. Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) is essential for Somaliland in order to achieve economic growth, have a marketable labour supply, and minimise unemployment, and underemployment. Pharo TVET Centre programmes offer skill-based training in line with the labour market needs of the country. Additionally, Pharo TVET Centre infuses technical knowledge enhancing productivity and sustaining competitiveness.
Pharo Vocational Training Centre is fostering job creation through innovation and entrepreneurship. The trainees who successfully complete our training programme have the opportunity to succeed in their careers in both local and foreign job markets. Pharo TVET Centre aims to become a premier skills development centre vital for Somaliland’s public and private sectors.

Our History
Pharo Vocational Training Centre was established in September 2021 and registered with the Ministry of Education and Science. Our vocational training programmes include Painting and Decoration, Electrical and Solar Installation, and Plumbing and Pipefitting. We strive to help trainees develop a high level of technical skills, critical thinking and problem-solving skills, personal responsibility, decision-making skills, and self-confidence.
